Summer Honors Institute in Environmental Studies

Introduction
Welcome! Our program offers gifted students entering their sophomore and junior years of high school a unique opportunity to explore real world environmental challenges in the beautiful Glen Helen Nature Preserve.
Students receive academic instruction and mentorship from college professors, environmental professionals and community organizations in this experiential, interdisciplinary course of study.
This program is a collaborative project of the Antioch University and the Glen Helen Ecology Institute. Regardless of Antioch College's status in July 2008, the Antioch Summer Honors Institute will take place. Funding is provided by the Ohio Department of Education.
When: July 28 - August 8, 2008 (Students return home for the weekend of August 2-3.)
Where: In Glen Helen and the Antioch College campus. Yellow Springs, Ohio.
Cost: Tuition is paid through a grant from the Ohio Department of Education. A total charge of $244.75 pays for two weeks of room and board (and a night out for ice cream at Young’s Dairy!).
