Transportation

Airports:

Yellow Springs is accessible from the Dayton (DAY) or Columbus (CMH) airports, with Columbus often offering significantly lower fares and more flights.  The drive to your hotel from the Dayton airport is around 30 minutes, while the drive from the Columbus airport is an hour or more (so there is a trade-off), but you may want to compare the options.

Ground Transportation

As we do not have student drivers available this year, options for transportation between the airport and campus or your hotel are:

                            

• Charter Vans –  We have arranged group rates to and from the Dayton Airport with Charter Vans.  Please call them directly with your flight information and reference Antioch College reunion.  They will group riders according to arrival time for the best rates available.  Rates will vary depending on number of people 800-874-0934 http://www.chartervans.com/

                       2 people traveling together--- $23.00 per person one way

                       3 or more people traveling together--- $18.00 per person one way

• Rental car
• Cab - ~Approximately $25 from the Dayton airport (not including tip). Anton’s Taxi (Phone 937-830-3108) will take reservations in advance and you can use a credit card.

 

Accommodations

 

We will have ample space available in our air-conditioned dormitories.  Dorm rooms put you in the center of the action but life in the dorms - in case you have forgotten- means no private baths, TV, soft pillows, firm mattresses, room service, waterbeds, or other cozy
