Workshop: Applying Multiple Intelligences to Problem Solving Niela Miller ’57 & Louise Smith ‘77
Saturday, June 23 from 1:30-3:15PM
Whether we are concerned with social, political, vocational or personal issues, we can generate many more ideas and perspectives from incorporating sensory (visual, auditory, tactile, kinesthetic) tools for collecting data and coming up with new approaches to various challenges than we would manifest by thinking or talking alone.
Niela Miller, '57 and Louise Smith '77, associate director of Antioch Area Theatre, will facilitate an interactive and fun experience making use of multiple intelligences based on whole brain theory and practices. They will introduce drawing, story, movement, writing, theatre improv, fantasy or a combination thereof, as you focus on an issue about which you would like to have more inspiration and insight. Then, in small groups working on similar concerns, you will have the opportunity to share and enrich each person's experience and possible applications.
