Matthew Walker Gribbin Memorial Fund

Matthew enjoyed the intimate, challenging academic environment, and loved his co-ops. The experience prepared him well for his plans to enter seminary, after leaving Antioch. Most of all he treasured the many friendships made during his four years at Antioch. Sadly, Matthew succumbed to a long battle with bipolar disorder in April, just days before graduation.

“We watched Matthew grow and find much happiness at Antioch. After his death, we experienced first-hand the warmth and love of the Antioch community as they reached out to us and did all they could to comfort us. To recognize how he loved his college years, we have requested a fund be established in Matthew’s name. We believe he would approve.
