How are the members of the Alumni Board selected?
Any Antioch alum can be nominated (self-nominations are permitted) as a potential candidate for the Alumni Board. If you would like to nominate someone for the Alumni Board, please contact Risa Grimes, Director of Alumni Relations, at rgrimes@antioch-college.edu or Fred Kraus, Director of Research, at fkraus@antioch-college.edu with your nominee.
The Nominations Committee of the Alumni Board meets regularly to vet the list of nominees who are then contacted by Alumni Board members to determine their inclination with regard to Board service. Each year a slate of candidates is assembled and the ballot is mailed to all Antioch College alums. Those candidates who are elected serve three-year terms, and meet three times each year on the Yellow Springs campus. The Alumni Board consists of between 21 and 30 members.
