Both Nevin’s teaching and creative investigations center on developing understandings of situational contexts through engaging multiple perspectives. She encourages mixing collaboration with individual inquiry toward narrowing the distance between the creative self and those who encounter the manifestations of artistic output.

Landing with-in the Antioch community, this former “gypsy artist/educator” is grateful for the richly varied experiences derived from teaching in eleven programs at eight schools, including: Ringling School of Art and Design, the University of South Florida, and Washington University in St. Louis.
