Teaching Responsibilities
Christine is a Social Psychologist with a graduate concentration in Womens Studies and Statistics. She teaches a number of courses, including General Psychology, Psychology of Women, Social Psychology, and Psychology of Race and Social Class.
Scholarly Interests
She has several current research projects examining fat stigma, feminist identification, and partner preferences as revealed in personal advertisements. She has published in Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Sex Roles, and Journal of Lesbian Studies. Her book chapter on Women, Weight, and Body image appears in the book Lectures on the Psychology of Women. She is on the Editorial Board of the journal Sex Roles, and coordinates the American Psychological Associations Division 35 Teaching the Psychology of Women workshop.
