Anne has been an independent documentary filmmaker since 1976. Her most recent film, Blood in the Face, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and showed theatrically in over 40 cities in the U.S. Blood in the Face was broadcast nationally on the Discovery Channel, and is available in the Home Video market.
Anne received an Academy Award Nomination as a Producer of With Babies and Banners and a National Emmy Award as a Producer of The Global Assembly Line. She is also Producer/Director of the film Reform on the River and The Power and the Spirit, a half-hour radio documentary which aired on National Public Radios All Things Considered. She also worked on Roger and Me, Muhammad Ali: The Whole Story, Rosie the Riveter, Seeing Red, Memorial, and Earth and the American Dream.
Anne is an Emeritus member of New Day Films, the nationally-known independent social issue film distribution cooperative. Her films have been exhibited theatrically and broadcast on television in over 17 countries.
