The program is open to students who have completed two years of academic study in good standing. They should be mature, sensitive, self-disciplined, and able to adapt to new situations. A minimum of one course in the visual or performing arts is required. Students without knowledge of basic French are strongly encouraged to take French classes in preparation for the program.
Application packets are available from the Antioch Education Abroad office and online from the AEA Admissions page. Required components include an application form, an essay, two recommendations, official transcripts, the Questionnaire and Work Samples for Arts and Culture in Mali, West Africa, and a $50 application fee.
The application deadline is March 30. Late applicants will be considered on a space-available basis.
