Leslie King

Leslie King, the Assistant Director of AEA, received her B.S. in Environmental Sciences from West Virginia University.  While earning her degree, Leslie studied Protected Area Management and Impacts of Eco-tourism in Southeast Asia, Nepal and South America.  Before joining AEA in 2005 as Program Coordinator, Leslie taught and led programs throughout Central America, which focused on cultural immersion, environmental education and service.  As Assistant Director, Leslie enjoys sharing her passion for international experiential education with others and is dedicated to promoting AEA’s academically challenging and enriching programs. She is also the Program Coordinator for both Europe in Transition and Antioch in Germany.
